Download Distribution
We normally keep two downloads available on our site, a stable and a development
version. The stable version is our "official" stable release and only bugfixes
are happening with that development tree. The development versions, however, are
under heavy development and released periodically for testing. We make every
effort to make these versions stable as possible, but we don't normally
recommend using them in production. If you, for some reason, want to download an
older version of SquirrelMail it can be found at our
SourceForge.net
project page.
Translations
These downloads contains all translations supported by the most recent releases
of the stable and development versions. Translations for older versions of
SquirrelMail can be found at our
SourceForge.net
project page.
Extra decoding library
SquirrelMail decoding functions are used to display and convert messages encoded
in different character sets. Extra decoding library provides support of some
complex Eastern and Apple x-mac character sets.
Third party packages
These packages are issued by third party organizations. Bugs in them should
primarily be reported to the organization issuing the package.
Snapshots
SVN (Subversion) is what we use to help manage our code. Since we have many
developers working on the same code base, a program like this is necessary to
maintain some sanity. You can download the absolute latest version of
SquirrelMail (up to the minute) to see what's happening between releases. These
are normally quite stable as well, but are definately not recommended to be used
in production. They are, after all, bleeding edge technology.
